Teaching Position

  We are looking for 1 overseas English teachers for the next semester from February 20th，2006 to July 30th 2006.

I. Qualifications

 1. Overseas English teachers must be native English speakers. They must hold at least a bachelor degree in education linguistics literature art etc. Those who possess a teacher certificate of his/her own country or have teaching experience and in good health will be favorably considered.
2. The foreign teachers are expected to teach oral English at another campus DaXueCheng an-hour drive from the place where you will live. You will teach at least 20 periods per week. The school bus will pick you up every morning and take you back in the afternoon.
3. To sign a half-year contract with the school from February 2006 to July 2006

II. Treatment of Foreign Teachers

    Every foreign teacher who is employed in Department of International Language and Culture Beijing City University will enjoy the following treatment and bears the following responsibilities:

1. Monthly salary of RMB 4000 (If you teach at another campus the salary will amount to RMB 5 600 per month) If you want to teach more hours you will be paid 70 RMB per period.
2．Free accommodations in a one-bedroom and a living-room apartment equipped with the refrigerator the washing machine the microwave oven the air conditioner. Of course the telephones is also available you can make the local call free of charge. But you will pay the bill of long-distance call and the broadband network service.
3. Being provided safety and medical insurance by the local government
4. RMB 10000 for the round-trip flight ticket (economic class) if serving in the school for a year RMB 5，000 half a year.
5. 20 hours of oral English or other courses in a school per week
6. Enjoying the same holidays with his/her Chinese colleagues.
